Boss Owen Coyle believes the forthcoming run of fixtures at Ewood Park is the perfect chance to get some positive momentum going.

After failing to win their opening three league matches this season, Coyle's Rovers kick off a week of three home clashes, starting with this Saturday's first ever meeting between the club and Burton Albion.

On Tuesday Rovers have an EFL Cup 2nd round tie at home to Crewe Alexandra, before facing Fulham in the final league game before the international break the following Saturday.

"We've got to set ourselves up now for the three home games and be ready for the good team that Burton are," said the Rovers boss.

"They showed that the other night against Sheffield Wednesday when they thoroughly deserved their victory.

"But we are back at home at Ewood so it is an opportunity for us to go and win our games.

"A win gets you up and running coming into another two home games after that, and of course it gives you confidence, that momentum, that forward movement we all want.

"But, the important thing is not to talk about it, but to deliver it and to go and win."

Tickets for Saturday's match against the Brewers are on open sale up until the 3pm kick-off priced from £18 for Adults, £12 Concessions and £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.

Book now online at, or at the Roverstore, Ewood Park, or by calling the ticket office on 01254 372000.
