Paul Lambert was pleased for the supporters as Rovers returned to winning ways with a 1-0 away victory over Rotherham United.
Shane Duffy scored the only goal of the game at the New York Stadium, heading home Matt Grimes' corner kick after just six minutes.
Roared on by more than 1200 Roverites, the Lancashire side had plenty of opportunities to stretch their advantage, but an inspired display from Millers keeper Lee Camp ensured just the one goal would be enough for all three points.
"I thought we were brilliant from start to finish," Lambert told Rovers PlayerHD.
"We were up against a team that had been unbeaten in 11, but their goalkeeper was the man-of-the-match and that speaks volumes to the way we played.
"I thought the system was great, I thought the attitude of the players was first class and the supporters were absolutely fantastic.
"Without our fans the atmosphere in the stadium wouldn't have been the same, they made it a game like that and I think the players responded.
"We now need the same in the last game against Reading."
Tickets for the final match of the season at home to Reading are currently on open sale priced from £18 for Adults, £12 for Seniors and 18-21 year-old, and from £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
