Paul Lambert is optimistic that striker Danny Graham will be available for next Saturday's Ewood Park clash with Huddersfield Town.
The on-loan forward limped out of yesterday's goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers just 16 minutes into the match at Molineux with what looked like a hamstring strain.
But speaking after the match the Rovers boss said that Graham was taken off as a precaution to prevent any serious injury and that he could be available next weekend.
"Hopefully it is just a bit of tightness there and he'll be okay for next Saturday," said Lambert.
"I think he'll be okay, we just couldn't risk him today.
"If we had kept him on for a bit longer the hamstring could go and then you lose him for the whole rest of the campaign.
"But I thought Chris Brown and Simeon Jackson did really well when they came in.
"I know what I'll get with Simeon as I've known him a long time. He works the channels and I just thought we needed someone to stretch it a little bit and he did that very well."
Rovers are back in action at Ewood Park next Saturday when they take on Huddersfield Town.
Tickets for this match are available in the Blackburn End and Darwen End at the fantastic price of just £10 for Adults, £5 for Seniors and 18-21 year-olds and just £2 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
