Paul Lambert was satisfied with another point on their travels as they claimed a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
Dexter Blackstock fired the home side in front at the City Ground, but Danny Graham soon levelled with a deft chip.
Both sides had opportunities in the second half as Henri Lansbury and Ben Marshall both struck the bar, with the manager feeling the draw was the right scoreline.
"I thought the draw was a fair result," said the Rovers boss.
"It is a great place to come and play, we had some really good moments in the game.
"Our goal was excellent, it was a great pass from Ben to clip it though and Danny has been excellent since he's been at the football club.
"I thought we dominated the ball in the first half, in the second they hit the bar and we hit the bar and Jason has made a good save. But other than that there wasn't too much in it.
"This is a difficult place to come, there was a lot of plusses from the game a draw was the fair result."
Rovers are back in action at Ewood Park this Saturday when Bristol City are the visitors.
