Under-21 football returns to Ewood Park this Monday evening when Rovers take on Brighton & Hove Albion - kick-off 7.00pm.

Chris Taylor will step up his bid for full fitness by getting another outing after recovering from a groin operation.

The midfielder played 45 minutes in a behind closed doors friendly match against Fleetwood Town last Tuesday so it is hoped he'll get more game time under his belt in tonight's Under-21 league game.

Taylor isn't the only senior on show this evening, as he is joined by David Raya in goal and midfielder Sacha Petshi in the 16-man squad.

Rovers had the upper hand in the matches between the two sides last season. Kicking off their campaign with a 2-0 away win last August thanks to goals from Jordan Preston and Modou Cham. The corresponding match at Ewood ended as a goalless draw.

The club are offering free entry for tonight's match. Kick-off at Ewood is at 7.00pm, the Jack Walker Lower Tier will be open.
