Rovers' Development Squad are back in action this Friday night with an away league match against Fulham.

Damien Johnson's side go into the game at Motspur Park looking to make it a hat-trick of victories after triumphs over Barrow and West Ham United in their last two outings.

Ten days ago Rovers progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup courtesy a dramatic penalty shootout win over Barrow after the match ended 3-3, and they followed that up in similar enthralling fashion with a 4-3 win at Ewood over West Ham on Monday evening.

Tonight's opponents Fulham were also winners last time out with a 2-1 away win at Stoke City.

With the first team in action on Saturday against Charlton Athletic, Johnson has taken a young squad south for this evening's match with five changes from the side that beat West Ham.

Ryan Crump returns in goal, with Mark Edgar and Sam Lavelle joining Ryan Nyambe and Scott Wharton in defence.

The other two changes come in midfield with Willem Tomlinson and Connor Thomson back in the starting XI.

ROVERS: Crump, Nyambe, Edgar, Tomlinson, Lavelle (c), Wharton, Thomson, Carson, Forrester, Green, Cham.

Subs: Rittenberg, Fisher, Doyle, Mansell, Hardcastle.

Kick-off at Motspur Park is at 7.00pm.
