Rovers welcome Tommy Spurr back to the squad for Saturday's trip to face Hull City.

The defender sat out last week's win over Charlton Athletic after being knocked unconscious moments into the draw with QPR three days earlier.

But after training all week the defender is once again available for selection.

Spurr's inclusion is the only change to the squad for the match against Steve Bruce's side as Rovers remain without Jason Lowe (foot) and Chris Brown (knee). Chris Taylor is on his way back to full fitness but the weekend match comes too soon.

"Tommy Spurr has been given a clean bill of health so he definitely comes back into contention for the weekend," said boss Gary Bowyer.

"Chris Taylor played 45 minutes in a behind closed game for us on Tuesday so that is really positive for us, he will probably feature for us on Monday night with the reserves.

"We are still missing Jason Lowe and Chris Brown."

Blackburn Rovers supporters should note that tickets for Saturday's match against Hull City will not be available on the day of the game.

Fans who wish to purchase tickets for this weekend match at the KC Stadium have until 4.30pm on Friday to get them from the Roverstore at Ewood Park.

Some 650 tickets have been sold to date for the game against Steve Bruce's side, they are priced at £27 for Adults, £18 for Seniors aged 65 & over, £18 for 19–22 year-olds, £15 for Juniors aged 13-18 and £9 for those aged 12 and under.

Book online today at or for further information call the ticket office on 01254 372000.
