John O'Sullivan and Sacha Petshi will both get a runout for the Reserves this evening when they take on Barrow in the first round of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.

Both players have found first team opportunities limited so far this season so they'll get some much-needed minutes under their belts in tonight's cup tie.

Ryan Nyambe adds to those with first team experience, but the rest of the squad is made up of Under-21 regulars, although Rovers could have a trialist in goal as former Accrington Stanley stopper Luke Simpson is named in the squad.

With Damien Johnson away on international duty as a coach with Northern Ireland's Under-21 set-up, John Filan will take the team at the Furness Building Society Stadium.

Rovers will select from: Simpson, Crump, Nyambe, Doyle, Edgar, Lavelle, Wharton, Petshi, Thomson, Carson, Mahoney, O'Sullivan, Wall, Cham, Mansell, Rittenberg.

For those fans planning on travelling to Barrow, admission prices for this evening's game are £9 Adults, £8 Concessions and £2 for Under-16s in the seating areas, and £8 Adults, £7 Concessions and Under-16s for free on the terracing.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
