Boss Gary Bowyer has praised the fans for their fantastic support at Loftus Road and hopes for more of the same this weekend against Charlton Athletic.

The travelling supporters backed the Rovers throughout the midweek match at Queens Park Rangers with the manager grateful for their efforts.

After two lengthy trips on the road, Rovers are back at home this Saturday, and Bowyer hopes the fans play their part once more.

"Our supporters were unbelievable on Wednesday night," said Bowyer.

"In terms of the numbers first and foremost because of the fact that it was a midweek game in London having been down there on the Sunday, and the level of the noise that they made was unbelievable.

"You always get a feel of how the game has been by how your supporters are and at the end I watched them clap the players for their level of performance.

"It goes hand-in-hand, we've said that all along. The players get the fans going at the right times and there are other times where the supporters get the players going.

"It will be the same on Saturday and we need both doing their part."
