Shane Duffy is confident that Rovers can bounce back from the disappointment of only picking up a point in midweek when they face Charlton at Ewood on Saturday.
Duffy, who was yesterday named in the provisional 40-man Republic of Ireland squad for their Euro 2016 qualifiers against Germany and Poland next month, admitted he would have swapped his first goal of the season in the draw at QPR, for all three points in the match.
The defender maintains that confidence in the camp remains high, despite the frustration of not turning performances into the points they deserve.
"That's football for you. I'm disappointed not to get the three points, I'd have definitely swapped the goal for the three points," said the Irishman.
"It sums our season up so far, but you can't get too down about it, it is still a point away from home.
"Anyone who saw the match knows that we were the better team but it is a point, but hopefully this will give us the confidence to kick on.
"We're a confident team anyway, the performances have been there, it is just that results matter and they aren't there at the moment. It is just frustrating.
"The fans and the players want the first win, just to get it out of the way, so hopefully it is not too far away."
