Modou Barrow is expected to earn his second international cap when Gambia take on Cameroon this Sunday.
The Rovers loanee is back in his home country for a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Independence Stadium in Bakau - kick-off 4.30pm local time.
After making his senior debut for the Scorpions in their opening qualifier against South Africa back in June - a match that ended goalless - Barrow is likely to start once more against Cameroon.
Cameroon's Indomitable Lions lead the four-team group after a last-minute winner over Mauritania in their first qualifier, so today's match give Barrow's Gambia the chance to leap-frog their opponents.
The group winners qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals that take place in Gabon, whilst the runners-up will also qualify if they are one of the two runners-up with the best record.
