Henley: It'll all come together

Adam Henley is sure that the first win of the season is just around the corner for Rovers.

The young defender believes it is only a matter of time before the team pick up their first three points of the campaign having been left frustrated in the opening five games of the season.

Rovers have created plenty of goalscoring opportunities, but they have just lacked that killer touch in front of goal to date, but Henley is convinced that will change.

"It just isn't falling for us at the moment, football can be like that, you go through spells where you struggle to find the back of the net," the Welsh international told Radio Rovers.

"But I'm confident with the chances that we have created in the past games that it will come sooner rather than later.

"It is just getting that goal and finding the back of the net. I'm sure it'll all come together and we'll score three or four in a game. It is just how it is.

"The longer it goes on it becomes more important for us to get that, we are all thinking about it.

"All we can do is keep doing what we are doing and keep trying to improve. I feel like the team is coming together, it is coming, we can all feel it."

Henley and Rovers return to action after the international break with a trip to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday 13th September, kick-off 12.00pm.

Tickets for the match are currently on open sale priced at £25 for Adults, £20 for Seniors aged 65 & over, £20 for 17 - 21’s and £15 for Juniors aged 16 and under.
