Boss Gary Bowyer believes the best is yet to come from star striker Jordan Rhodes.
Rhodes will make his 150th appearance in a Rovers shirt later today against Hull City, and after bagging four goals in his last three starts, the manager has backed him to maintain his outstanding scoring record.
With 78 goals for the club already, the Scottish international has a return that is better than a goal every other game, with Bowyer predicting he is only going to improve.
"He is in unbelievable form," said the Rovers boss.
"In the last three games he has had 13 or 14 shots, eight of those have been on target, and he has scored four goals.
"So we've got to make sure that the responsibility of the others is to keep setting him up and providing him with chances.
"His return is phenomenal, it is finishing of the highest quality. His conversion rate is unbelievable.
"He's looked really, really sharp in the last couple of games so he is only going to get better.
"This year I think his game has gone up another level in terms of his link-up play. He is coming more and more into it, getting better at it, seeing the importance of it, and he's striking up a decent partnership with Fode Koita."
