Hard work is the answer

14 September 2015

Gary Bowyer is sure that if Rovers continue to show the same work ethic and commitment then the points will surely follow.

Rovers were once again left to rue what might have been as they fell to an undeserved 2-1 loss at Fulham on Sunday.

The result leaves the Lancashire club still searching for their first win of the season, but Bowyer is convinced it will happen.

"What we've got to do is we've got to keep working hard, it is as simple as that," said the manager.

"We aren't going to feel sorry for ourselves, and we are not having anybody feeling sorry for themselves.

"We've got to stick together, we've got to keep the belief. No doubt there'll be knockers, there are always knockers in this industry.

"But we've got to make sure that we keep doing what we are doing and eventually we are going to actually score quite a lot of goals."

Rovers are back in London on Wednesday night when they take on Queens Park Rangers.

Tickets are still on open sale for the match at Loftus Road. Priced from £27 for Adults, from £18 for Seniors over 60 and 16-21 year-olds, and from £12 for Under-16s.
