Boss Gary Bowyer has backed Jordan Rhodes to go on a goalscoring run after notching his first of the season at the weekend.
The Rovers striker struck a second half penalty in the 2-1 loss to Fulham to grab his first of the campaign.
After missing the majority of pre-season and a handful of league matches due to an ankle injury, Rhodes is now back fully fit, and his manager is sure that now the first goal has arrived, more will follow.
"People were talking that he hadn't scored, and we knew, because we've been through it before, that when they start talking he breaks his duck," Bowyer told Rovers Player.
"He did it on Sunday and he could quite easily have had a hat-trick.
"The most important thing is he is still getting in there and he is still getting those opportunities.
"Like I've said many times, if we weren't getting those chances I'd be concerned, but the football we played and how we have gone about it so far has been pleasing. We've just got to get the result now."
Rhodes and Rovers are back in action this evening when they travel to take on Queens Park Rangers.
Tickets will be on sale on the night of the game from Loftus Road, priced at £32 for Adults, £22 for Seniors (Over 60) and 16 - 21’s, and £15 for Juniors aged Under 16.
