Sam Joel marked his first appearance for Bamber Bridge with a goal as all three of the Rovers players out on loan saw game time at the weekend.
The young striker, who joined the Evo-Stik First Division North side on Friday, was a second half substitute as Brig went goal crazy in a 7-0 win over basement side New Mills.
Leading 2-0, Bamber Bridge then scored five goals in the last 15 minutes to claim an emphatic victory, with Joel getting in on the scoring act by adding their 5th goal on 82 minutes.
A 2-1 win for Ayr United over Airdrieonians on Saturday saw them climb to the top of the Scottish Division One.
Hosts Airdrie stunned Ayr by taking a fifth minute lead, but the visitors drew level on the stroke of half-time when Jordan Preston teed up Craig Moore to equalise.
On 66 minutes the Honest Men completed the turnaround as a long-range strike from Brian Gilmour and they saw the game out to claim the win.
Preston, who has had a successful start to his second loan spell with Ayr after scoring three goals in his first six games, was substituted with the clock ticking down in time added on at the end of the game.
Clitheroe suffered a home defeat at the weekend as they went down 2-1 to Ossett Town.
Callum Hendry started the match at Shawbridge but was replaced at half-time after the visitors lead at the break.
Ossett then doubled their advantage in the second half, but whilst Clitheroe pulled a goal back 15 minutes from time, the Blues were unable to claim an equaliser in the closing stages.
Clitheroe return to action this evening when they face Northwich Victoria at home, Bamber Bridge also play tonight away at Radcliffe Borough.
