Cyprus test for Wales

3 September 2015

Wales could take an important step towards Euro 2016 qualification when they face Cyprus this evening.

Chris Coleman's squad are in Nicosia for tonight's all-important qualifier, knowing victory over the Cypriots will all but clinch a place in next summer's finals in France.

The Welsh sit top of their Group B table, three points ahead of second placed Belgium and five points ahead of third placed Israel, with just four games remaining. The top two teams in each group qualify.

Rovers duo Tom Lawrence and Adam Henley are part of the 23-man squad that have travelled to Cyprus, with both players expected to be on the substitute's bench this evening.

Following the match against Cyprus, Wales will return to Cardiff in preparation for Sunday's qualifier against Israel.
