A tough match to look forward to

Rovers are back on their travels this Saturday afternoon with a trip to east Yorkshire to take on Steve Bruce's Hull City.

Manager Gary Bowyer is anticipating a tough test of Rovers' credentials at the KC Stadium, against a side still full of quality players from their time in the Premier League.

The Rovers boss believes Hull are one of the favourites for promotion this season, not least because of who is in charge of the Tigers.

"We are coming up against a very experienced manager who knows how to get out of this league - he's done it three times," said Bowyer.

"He is someone that has always been helpful towards myself whenever I have spoke to him, and he is very, very good at his job.

"He's got some good players in already. I watched them the other night, they made nine changes, and that team goes and beats Swansea. So that shows you the level of their squad.

"But it is a game that we are really looking forward to."
