After settling into life at Rovers, Tom Lawrence is eager to help them climb up the table starting with a win over Derby County at Ewood Park this evening.

The forward joined Rovers in August from Leicester City on loan until the turn of the year and has already been praised for his displays in a blue-and-white shirt.

After scoring one and creating another in the win over Charlton Athletic, the 21-year-old followed that up with a hardworking display as Rovers defeated Ipswich Town in their last home outing.

Now back at Ewood for the match against the Rams, Lawrence wants another strong display on home soil as Rovers enter an important period of games.

"The lads have welcomed me and I'm enjoying my football at the minute," said Lawrence.

"It has been good, I have learned a lot already and hopefully I've put that into my performances.

"Hopefully we can get back to winning ways on Wednesday night then I'll be enjoying it even more.

"We've a big two games coming up but you've got to take one game at a time, we've Derby on Wednesday night and you've got to look at that one first and then you go onto the next one after that so I'm looking forward to them."

Lawrence has extra incentive to perform well after earning his first international cap for Wales earlier this month.

With Wales qualifying for next summer's Euro 2016 finals, he knows it is imperative that he keeps playing to a high standard.

"It was an honour to get my first cap for Wales," he added.

"I was happy that my family was there to see it, and to get the win as well, it was good all-round. Hopefully there is more to come in the future.

"But you can't look too far ahead yet, you've got to focus on your club and I'll try to push on with Blackburn."

Tickets for this evening's match will be on sale right up until the 7.45pm kick-off.
Tickets are priced from £18 for Adults, £12 for Seniors 65 and over, £12 for 18-21 year-olds and just £7 for Juniors aged 17 and below.
