Markus Olsson is eager to help Rovers kickstart a run of positive results with this evening's match with Leeds United.
Before the international break the team were in a rich vein of form, but having tasted defeat twice in their last three outings the Swede insists results have to turn around.
Whilst Olsson knows that Rovers have been putting in performances, he also acknowledges that it is imperative that they get the points their play deserves, beginning with tonight's Elland Road clash.
"We need to get a run going and hopefully it will start against Leeds United," said the defender.
"Sometimes playing nice football isn't something to be satisfied with. It is about winning games, it is about getting the three points.
"We have to forget about the Burnley game now and go to Leeds looking for three points and put it right.
"It feels like a proper English stadium and there's always a good atmosphere so it is good to go there as we usually have good support."
Olsson, who scored his only goal in a Rovers shirt against Leeds United at Elland Road in 2012, admits that their failure to convert the chances that have been created has proved costly in recent weeks and knows that it has to change.
He added: "It feels like every game we create a lot of chances and even in the last game against Burnley we had three clear chances to score.
"That is why we are being punished, we aren't putting away our chances away, they got one half-chance and they scored.
"So that is the difference, we need to take our chances, it is definitely something that we need to be more focused about. Not only defending, but in front of goal."
