Rovers boss Gary Bowyer was delighted with the display of Tom Lawrence against Ipswich Town last time out.
As Rovers prepare to take on MK Dons this Saturday afternoon, the manager believes that playing alongside Jamie Vardy at Leicester City has really benefitted the on-loan Rover as he put in an all-action display against the Tractor Boys.
"I think one of the things that he has got is he's had a very close look in probably one of the best in country in Vardy," said the Rovers boss.
"I remember when we went to Leicester a couple of years ago and there was Vardy and David Nugent up front they beat us down there 2-1.
"The most impressive thing from them was they pressed the living daylights out of us that night and it was a great example to any young player.
"Fortunately for us Tom has seen that in close-quarters with Vardy and has taken that on board and brought that into his game."
Supporters who haven't yet purchased tickets for Saturday's match against MK Dons will be able to do so on the day of the game - cash only from the away ticket booth from 1.00pm.
