Two more of Rovers' promising youngsters have put pen-to-paper on their first professional contracts.
Willem Tomlinson and Lewis Mansell have joined Scott Wharton in signing two-and-a-half year pro deals until the summer of 2018.
After impressing for both the Under-18s and Under-21s at the end of last season, midfielder Tomlinson caught the eye this summer as part of Gary Bowyer's senior squad, culminating in a stunning 35-yard strike in Rovers' pre-season victory over Wigan Athletic at Ewood Park.

Striker Mansell has also made the headlines this campaign, following up his successful end to last season when he helped the Rovers Under-21s reach the final of the U21 Premier League Cup, by grabbing ten goals for the Academy in an impressive start to the year for the Under-18s.
