Boss Gary Bowyer has promised that his side will be giving everything they've got when they take on Leeds United at Elland Road this Thursday's evening.

Tonight's match gives Rovers the perfect opportunity to get the disappointment of the weekend loss out of their system with the manager admitting that the players can't wait.

"It is important that we bounce back, we've got to do everything that we can to get the win," said Bowyer.

"We now have to stop talking about about how well we've played, it is more about winning the games now. Ideally we'd like to do that in the vein we are showing, but if we go to Leeds on Thursday and win ugly then I'll be delighted.

"Everybody connected can't wait, there's a real determination amongst the group to put things right in terms of the results column.

"What we have to do at this particular time is to make sure that we really stick together, keep the belief, and come out fighting even harder.

"The players are very committed to the club and they want to get it right for themselves and the supporters."

The Rovers boss feels that it will only take one positive result to get their season back on track and he believes that with the way the team are playing, that will be sooner rather than later.

"The beauty of this league is that it can quickly turn round," added Bowyer.

"I know at this moment in time that it doesn't look as good as what it should do with our level of performances, but we are very close to turning it around and sitting nicely going into the next part of the season.

"I genuinely think we are one win away from really taking off because it will back up, for the players especially, that how we are going about it is the right way. I honestly believe that.

"They've got a fantastic way of playing, a fantastic belief in what they are doing and it is just the fine margins at the moment.

"If we go and win at Leeds then there's nothing to stop this team putting on a powerful run."
