Gary Bowyer has praised the achievements of Wales and Northern Ireland after their qualification for the UEFA Euro 2016 finals.
Rovers were well represented with Corry Evans, Tom Lawrence and Adam Henley involved as the two home nations secured their place in next summer's tournament in France.
"Congratulations to Northern Ireland and Wales, it is a fantastic achievement," said the Rovers boss.
"Both managers have done outstandingly well and it will be fantastic for our players to go and represent the club in France in the summer."
Bowyer believes qualification for the finals will provide the perfect incentive for all three players to maintain their high standards of play, to ensure they are included in their respective squads.
"The only way they are going to be able to do that is by their performances for Blackburn Rovers," he added.
"So from our point of view it is great because they have to perform to get in those squads."
