A belief and a confidence in our play

As Rovers reach the 10-game mark of the season this Saturday, boss Gary Bowyer believes his side are starting to put in the sort of displays required to see them move up the table.

The manager has been pleased with the team's never-say-die attitude shown in recent weeks, and feels the players are adjusting well to their new style of play.

Whilst admitting that Rovers don't have enough points on the board at this stage of the campaign, Bowyer is convinced that with the way they are playing, that a run of results will soon follow.

"We've got some momentum going in our performances and we've just started to pick up a bit of momentum in terms of results so we've got to keep that on Saturday," said the Rovers boss.

"If you look at our games we've been more than competitive, we've shown great resilience of late on the road which will stand us in good stead.

"We've shown a great mentality and we've shown that the players are learning to adapt to playing a new style.

"We would have liked more points on the board but then you have to look at the circumstances of those games in which we haven't taken points away.

"There was the handball goal against Wolves, and the ball crosses the line against Fulham, so there are two of our three defeats. When you look at it like that it shows that there is a belief and a confidence in the players to keep performing the way they are, that is the positive bit from our point of view.

"We knew it would take time due to the players that we lost in the summer, but the signs have been really positive from the players."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Ipswich are currently on open sale priced from £18 for Adults, from £12 for Seniors and 18-21 year-olds, whilst Juniors aged 17 and under can see the game from just £7.
