Anton Forrester has today joined Morecambe on an emergency loan until January 3rd.
The 21-year-old becomes the latest Rovers youngster to go out in a bid to gain valuable first team experience by joining the League Two side until the turn of the year.
Forrester had previously enjoyed a loan spell with Bury. Spending a large part of the 2013-14 season with the Shakers scoring 7 goals in 31 appearances before a serious knee injury cut short his stay at Gigg Lane.
Now free of injury, and with 3 goals for the Under-21s this season, the forward has been signed in time for Jim Bentley's side's away match against Stevenage this Saturday.
He has also been given permission to play for the Shrimps in their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy area semi-final against Fleetwood.
