Gary Bowyer has been handed a fitness boost ahead of Tuesday night's trip to Birmingham City.

Despite needing ten stitches to a cut cheek, club captain Grant Hanley will be fit to take his place amongst the Rovers defence tomorrow.

The Scottish international couldn't complete Thursday night's win over Leeds United due to a migrane, but he will be available for selection at St. Andrew's.

"He's fine," confirmed Bowyer on Monday morning. "He had 10 stitches just across the cheek and he suffered a migraine which you sometimes get when you suffer a blow to that area.

"But he walked out to watch the rest of the game after the migraine had settled down. So he's fine, he has a nice bit of bruising, a nice bit of colour."

Rovers will be without Corry Evans after the midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season last time out, but Bowyer could have Danny Guthrie and Fode Koita available to bolster his squad.

"Fode Koita has joined back in so we're hoping after the two sessions he's had with us he's fine again this morning," added the manager.

"We'll see how Danny is today and then go from there with him. Then it's just obviously the long-term ones who are still missing."

Tickets for the match at St. Andrew's are on open sale priced at £15 for Adults, £10 for Seniors 65 & over, £10 for Students with valid NUS ID, £10 for 13-18 year-olds and £5 for fans aged 12 and under.

Tickets will go off sale at Ewood Park at 2.30pm on the day, after that they will be on sale at Birmingham, cash only from the away turnstiles.
