Rovers are delighted to announce the loan signing of Doneil Henry from West Ham United.
The 22-year-old makes a welcome return to Ewood Park, joining the club on an initial deal until January 3rd 2016.
"It is great to be back here again, it is a great club," said Henry.
"The last time I was here I felt really welcomed, I got tossed in right away and felt it was made really easy because of how great the guys were here.
"So I'm just looking to train hard and play my part and give all I have for the team."
Manager Paul Lambert said: "I'm delighted to be able to bring Doneil back. I know that he did very well last time he was here, prior to his injury. We felt that it was important to add an extra body to the defensive department and Doneil was the obvious choice."
Henry enjoyed a brief but successful spell with Rovers towards the end of last season. Signing mere hours before the team took on Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, the central defender put in an outstanding debut display in a 2-1 victory.
The following weekend the Canadian impressed once more, claiming an assist as Rovers defeated Bolton Wanderers at Ewood.
However his loan spell would be cut short the very next match as Henry sustained a serious hamstring injury in the 3-1 away win at Charlton Athletic. Forcing the defender to return to West Ham for surgery.
Henry could make his second debut for the club against Sheffield Wednesday once more this Saturday.
Tickets for the game are on open sale with prices from £22 for Adults, from £14 Seniors and 18-21 year-olds and from just £9 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
