Rovers will face a host of local sides in preparation for the forthcoming 2015-16 Sky Bet Championship season.
Gary Bowyer’s side will take on several lower league clubs as part of their summer pre-season plans, ending with the traditional Ewood Park curtain raiser that sees them play Wigan Athletic.
Rovers kick off their preparations with a popular trip to the Store First Stadium to play Accrington Stanley on Saturday July 11th - kick-off 3.00pm, before jetting off for a week of warm weather training at a camp in Portugal.
Upon their return, League One side Rochdale will be the next stop on Tuesday July 21st, kick-off 7.45pm, before trips to take on Tranmere Rovers on July 24th (7.45pm), Oldham Athletic on Saturday July 25th (3.00pm), and Bury on Tuesday July 28th 7.30pm.
Wigan Athletic provide the opposition for our final warm-up game of the pre-season schedule. The match will take place at Ewood Park on Saturday 1st August with a 3.00pm kick-off, ahead of the big season kick-off seven days later.
Ticketing and admission arrangements for all pre-season games will be confirmed in due course.
