Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation, is pleased to be the first charity to launch a unique campaign with fundraising platform Wear Your Support.
The London-based firm will produce a limited-edition run of earphones if enough pledges are received from people who wish to wear their support for Kick It Out’s messages of equality and inclusion.
Wear Your Support is an innovative concept that allows charities to crowd finance the purchase of high-quality branded merchandise that would otherwise be out of the financial reach of non-profit organisations such as Kick It Out.
The money raised will go towards Kick It Out’s work tackling all forms of discrimination across all levels of football. Supporters are charged only if the target is reached.
Roisin Wood, Director of Kick It Out said: “Teaming up with Wear Your Support allows us to offer something tangible to our supporters in return for their pledge.
“Wear Your Support joined us at our Raise Your Game conference on 28 April to launch this campaign and it received great interest from the hundreds of people in attendance.
“The costs of producing merchandise is often a financial commitment that a charity like ours is unable to meet, so by proving a demand and crowdsourcing the costs of production, we can raise awareness of our messages in a brand new way.”
