Blackburn Rovers are pleased to announce that Ewood Park will play host to the FA Sunday Cup Final for the second year in succession.
The game will take place between Campfield, of Liverpool, and OJM, of Birmingham, on Sunday April 26th.
Last season, a hat-trick from Mark Davison inspired Humbledon Plains Farm to a 5-2 victory over holders Oyster Martyrs in the 50th anniversary final.
Mike Birt, Chairman of The FA Sunday Cup Committee, said: “Ewood Park is a magnificent stadium and we’re delighted that Blackburn Rovers FC has agreed to host this Final for the second year running after staging such a great spectacle last season.”
Rovers’ Football Secretary Ian Silvester said: “Blackburn Rovers are honoured to be chosen by the Football Association to host the FA Sunday Cup Final for the second successive year.
“We look forward to welcoming representatives from The FA along with the players, management and supporters of both Campfield and OJM and hope that everyone enjoys their big day out at Ewood Park.”
