Rovers' Under-18s made it a hat-trick of wins with a weekend triumph over Fulham at Brockhall on Saturday.
Following on from a pair of away victories over Newcastle United, Rovers returned to home soil to record a successful 2-0 win and a third consecutive clean sheet.
A goal in each half secured the points with Ramirez Howarth opening the scoring on 20 minutes, before Tre Pemberton grabbed his second goal in as many games on 70 to complete the victory.
The home side started the stronger of the two sides, taking a deserved lead after just 20 minutes.
Sam Joel spread play wide to Josh Askew on the right and as he swept the ball into the area, Howarth took a touch before firing home.
Fulham looked to play their way back into the match and enjoyed spells of possession, but the Rovers back line held strong to keep them at bay until the break.
The second half started in the same vein with Fulham seeing more of the ball, Rovers guilty of being wasteful when half-chances came their way.
But with 20 minutes left Rovers grabbed the all-important second of the match.
An Andy Fisher goal kick was flicked on by Modou Cham to Pemberton who took the ball across two defenders before finishing well.
The young forward could have added a third for Rovers in the closing stages but was frustrated by the woodwork, but it was a satisfying afternoon for the blue and whites.
"We were very pleased with the way we played defensively," said coach Brian Carey. "We looked very strong and resolute.
"From an attacking point of view I felt we could have been better, there were times when we were rushed in possession."
