Rhodes represents Scotland

26 March 2015

Jordan Rhodes earned his 13th cap for his country as Scotland defeated Northern Ireland 1-0 on Wednesday evening.

The Rovers striker, back on the international stage after a 16-month absence, came on as a second half substitute for the Scots in the friendly match.

Rhodes played the final half hour at Hampden as defender Christophe Berra grabbed the only goal of the game five minutes from time.

Corry Evans played no part in the match for Northern Ireland.

Sunday sees Scotland on Euro 2016 qualifying duty at home to Gibraltar, whilst Northern Ireland play Finland in their qualifier.
