As Rovers prepare to take on Bolton Wanderers this evening, Gary Bowyer would love to see another large vocal backing.

The manager was delighted with the support the side received in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, and has called on the supporters to do more of the same against the Trotters at Ewood Park tonight.

"From an atmosphere point of view it is a brilliant game for us," said Bowyer.

"Our home fans will be buoyed by what they saw on Sunday. I thought the away following was magnificent, the noise that they made was tremendous.

"They never shut up and we need them to meet the challenge of doing the same on Wednesday.

"If they can produce that then it can help the team massively."

Rovers take on Bolton this evening looking to make amends for the loss they suffered at the Macron Stadium on Boxing Day.

Bowyer's side had the best of the opportunities throughout but their inability to take their chances saw the Trotters win 2-1.

"I think on reflection if you look at the whole season that is the one that really hits home in terms of it being a major disappointment," added the Rovers boss.

"We were absolutely fantastic there. The level of our performance, the type of football that we played, we totally dominated and we should have won the game.

"But we weren't clinical enough or ruthless enough in front of goal and obviously we've got to make sure we are on Wednesday."

Tickets for tonight's match against Bolton will be on sale until the 7.45pm kick-off. Prices are from £21 for Adults, from £13 for Seniors and Students, and from just £8 for Juniors aged 16 and under.

Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online at and collect from the Roverstore collection point before the game.
