Gary Bowyer wants Rovers to maintain the momentum of recent weeks when they face Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
Rovers go into the game at the Valley off the back of three clean sheets in their last four games, and just one defeat in their last nine matches.
With Rovers still with an outside chance of making the play-off, the manager knows there is little margin for error.
"We understand exactly the situation that we are in, we want to finish the season as strong as we possibly can," said Bowyer.
"We've got a wonderful quarter-final replay to look forward to, but up until then we've got four very difficult league games.
"But they are four league games that are winnable because of the nature of the Championship and the momentum that we have got at this moment in time.
"We had a meeting with the players leading into the Bolton match. We said we've got four big games and then we get a break so let's have a right good go at it and they started off ever so well."
Confidence is high in the camp at the moment, and the Rovers boss believes the spirit shown by the players to keep going on Wednesday night to claim the victory just emphasises that fact.
He added: "Their efforts are fantastic at the moment, and I think of late you've seen our fitness levels.
"To produce the energy and the amount of miles against Liverpool and then to back that up to go and score a late winner against Bolton just shows you the levels at which our players are at.
"When you've got the momentum and it is going in your favour then the games can't come quick enough, and that is the case at the moment.
"You see the size of the characters of the players that we have. Whoever puts the shirt on has to maintain the standards that have been set.
"That is the message and we've got to go again now."
