Boss Gary Bowyer is expecting a tough match when he takes his team to the Valley tomorrow.
Rovers may have won on their last two appearances in south east London, but he believes the side they'll face on Saturday are a different animal under new manager Guy Luzon.
Bowyer admits he doesn't know a great deal about the Addicks boss, but he has been impressed with the way Luzon has turned around their fortunes in recent weeks.
Rovers travel to the capital in fine spirits, but face a Charlton side who have won five out of their last six matches, including winning their last three on home soil.
"I don't know much about the manager but he's certainly got them winning games," said Bowyer.
"So that presents us with a different challenge, they've got the feel-good factor back there so we are aware, we know what to expect.
"But it is all about us. All about us going there with the same attitude that we have shown. To go to Bournemouth and Anfield and keep clean sheets was a phenomenal effort from everybody. It gives you a base for you to work from and we'll certainly be looking for that on Saturday."
Rovers have enjoyed their recent visits to the Valley. in their final away game of last season Rovers won 3-1. This season their FA Cup exploits were kicked off by a 2-1 victory.
Bowyer added: "The last time two times we've gone there we've put in some fabulous performances and we are going to need that again on Saturday.
"They will want to try and get revenge on that and that is something that we've got to be ready for and make sure that we go about our jobs as well as what we have been doing. Our away form of late has been fantastic."
Tickets for Saturday's match will go off sale at Ewood at 4pm this Friday. After that supporters can gain admission cash only from the South Stand Ticket Office.
