Gary Bowyer has his fingers crossed that Corry Evans and Markus Olsson will recover from their knocks to be fit for the weekend match with Charlton Athletic.
Already short on numbers due to a lengthening injury list, Evans and then Olsson both limped off during the first half of Wednesday night's 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.
"Initially it is a dead leg for Corry and Olsson said his hamstring was tight, so hopefully we caught it early enough," the manager told Radio Rovers.
"Corry couldn't carry on, it just stiffened up too quickly, he couldn't carry on. So we are hoping that he'll be better for the weekend.
"With Olsson it is a tight hamstring and we'll see how he progresses over the last 24 hours."
Rovers are back in action this weekend when they take on Charlton Athletic at the Valley.
