If Adam Henley can earn a first senior cap for Wales this weekend it will top off a great few weeks for the young defender.
Back in the Rovers first team, and with a first career goal under his belt, an appearance on the international stage when Wales take on Israel in their Euro 2016 qualifier this Saturday night would be the best of the lot.
It is the first full call-up for the 20-year-old, having previously been involved in the Welsh squad for an end of season friendly against Mexico in America in May 2012.
"I'm over the moon about it," Henley told Rovers Player. "It is the real icing on the cake for the last few weeks, and I'm really excited.
"I've been in squad once before, a summer friendly two or three years ago, but it was still good experience."
For Henley, the call from Chris Coleman makes all his hard work worthwhile after a couple of seasons disrupted by serious injury.
"I've had a tough couple of years personally with injuries so to get called up for a qualifier after everything I have gone through is a really good achievement," added the full back.
"I'm really excited to meet up with the full squad. You look at the team they've got now and the world class players that they've got, it is an exciting time for the country.
"It is somewhere i've never been before, it is an important game and I'm sure the whole squad will be up for that."
