Gary Bowyer is confident that Rovers can put the disappointment of the midweek defeat behind them by beating Brighton at Ewood on Saturday.

The loss to Brentford was their first in six outings, but the manager is confident that they can pick up fourth win this month to kick off another run.

Bowyer knows a top-six finish is now an uphill task, but insists there is still plenty to play for and that they'll be giving their all in the remaining matches.

"The players came in on Thursday morning and were very honest in their feedback and they were very positive as well," said the Rovers boss.

"I think compared to this time last year we are two points better off. I know the gap is different, but you saw how strongly we finished last year and the players will take a lot of confidence from that.

"We know we are capable of bouncing back and going on another run. We've got to try and finish this period off, it will be our 13th game in 43 days and we want to finish on a high and make it four wins out of five.

"We are all focused and gearing up to putting a right good last effort in on Saturday then we can have a nice break, because they'll have earned it and deserved it both physically and mentally.

"The break means we can get ready to finish as strong as we possibly can, we also have an exciting quarter-final replay so there is a lot to look forward to."

Tickets for Saturday's match are on sale up to the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors and Students, and from just £6 for Juniors aged 16 and under.
