Places are filling up fast for our Blackburn Rovers Futsal scholarship programme! Just 30 places available!

Love football and considering a college course? Here’s a chance to turn your GCSEs into goals and gain a BTEC while playing futsal for Blackburn Rovers in the Football League Trust Futsal League.

Launched in the summer of 2013, the new Futsal Education Programme provides a perfect pathway into further education through study and by utilising the increasingly popular form of the 'Beautiful Game' - Futsal.
You could be among those to follow in the footsteps of our current scholars, who are well on their way to gaining valuable qualifications, allowing access to university and employment in the sport & leisure industry, while representing Blackburn Rovers.
The two-year Futsal Education Scholarship through The Football League Trust and in partnership with TVS is open to current Year 11 & 12 male and female students, regardless of your playing ability.
The scholarship, which is based at Ewood Park Stadium, will join a full-time education package, which allows scholars to:
LEARN: Study towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (worth up to 3 A-Levels)
TRAIN: Regular Futsal coaching to develop technical, tactical and physical ability
PLAY: Represent Blackburn Rovers in the Football League Trust Futsal League
WORK: Open the door to university courses and careers in the sports industry
What is Futsal?
Approved by the likes of FIFA, UEFA and the FA, Futsal is played in a quick and exciting five-a-side format that is geared towards the development of a player's skills, technique and in-game decision making.
