After scoring his first league goal on Wednesday night, Chris Taylor is hoping to find the back of the net more between now and the end of the season.
The midfielder had been something of a cup expert with three goals in two games in this season's FA Cup, but grabbed his first league goal in a Rovers shirt with his first half strike against Brentford.
The manager has been calling Taylor to add goals to his game, and he duly obliged last time out.
"The players probably don't take as much interest as the gaffer, he has been on at me," said the midfielder.
"Since the turn of the year it has been very good. I've played a lot more which is important, and when I've played I've scored goals and been creating a few as well, so it hasn't been bad.
"I've always said that if I get a run of games then I fancy myself to score.
"I was a bit disappointed with the chance early on in the first half, if my touch had been better I'm sure I'd have scored. But luckily I made up for it later on.
"If I keep playing I'm sure I can chip in with some more."
