Whilst others are grateful for the rest, for Tommy Spurr, the international break has come at the wrong time.

The popular defender has only just returned to full fitness after an injury-hit season, featuring in six of Rovers' last nine matches.

Spurr is glad to be finally back in action, but frustrated that there's isn't another game until the trip to take on Leeds United on Saturday April 4th.

"I'm getting back into the swing of it, I've been involved in the last four or five games on the bounce," Spurr told Radio Rovers.

"I'm starting to feel sharper and sharper each game and when I came on I felt good, probably the best I've felt so I could do with another game.

"I'll just be looking forward to the Leeds game and hopefully get more playing time and hopefully get back to the way I was playing last year.

"It is a big game and one I'll be looking forward to personally. It is one of the biggest games of the year for me, so I'll be working hard in training to try and get a game there."

Tickets for the Leeds match are currently on sale to season ticket holders, with general sale from Wednesday 25th March.

Prices are £34 Adults, £23 Seniors (60+), Students (22+), Young Adults (16-21), and £16 for Juniors under 16.
