Doneil Henry could make his Ewood debut this Wednesday night when Rovers take on Bolton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old defender, who joined the club on loan just seven days ago, is in line to make his first home appearance this evening with Rovers short on numbers defensively.

With Alex Baptiste ineligible to play against his parent club, and Grant Hanley (calf) and Shane Duffy (knee) also absent, the West Ham youngster is likely to make his second appearance in a Rovers shirt following his start against Sheffield Wednesday last week.

Rovers are without seven first team players in total this evening, with David Dunn (calf), Jason Lowe (foot) and Josh King (hamstring) also sidelined and Jay Spearing ineligible.

"Grant Hanley, Josh King and David Dunn are making progress," said the Rovers boss. "They are doing well and we have one or two dates pencilled in.

"So we are stretched in terms of numbers and we are not as fortunate as Bolton to have brought in as many loans as they have because of the embargo.

"But we'll deal with what we've got and have a right good go at it."

Tickets for the match against Bolton will be on sale until the 7.45pm kick-off. Prices are from £21 for Adults, from £13 for Seniors and Students, and from just £8 for Juniors aged 16 and under.

Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online at and collect from the Roverstore collection point before the game.
