Encouraged by the point against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, boss Gary Bowyer wants all three against Sheffield Wednesday this evening.
The manager has been pleased with the way the team have performed on the road in recent outings but knows that they have to get the points to back that up.
After the weekend draw on the South coast, Rovers now head to South Yorkshire looking to get back to winning ways.
"I was looking back at our away fixtures over the last month and performance-wise we have been excellent," Bowyer told Rovers Player.
"At Watford, we should have won there, we dominated. We carried on that fighting spirit at Cardiff after a great win in the FA Cup against Stoke, so that was a different battling display.
"To show the resilience that we did, but not only that, to take the confidence to show what we were capable of with the ball against Bournemouth was very pleasing and something for the players to certainly build on.
"So the performances have been decent but we know it is all about the results - especially now at this stage of the season.
"We've always had our chances in games and we've probably not been as clinical enough at times. But then at the same time we've got to have shown that mentality to see it out, dig in and grind out a result and I thought that was the pleasing aspect on Saturday that we did dig in when we needed to."
Tickets for this evening's match will go off sale at Ewood Park at 2.00pm.
Fans can also gain admission at Hillsborough by paying cash only at the away turnstiles. Prices are £20 Adults, £10 Seniors/11-16yrs and £5 Under 11s.
