Gary Bowyer is eager to ensure Blackburn Rovers go into the international break off the back of three points.

After a hectic period of matches, Saturday's game against Brighton & Hove Albion will be Rovers' 13th game in just 43 days, so the break does come at a welcome time for the club.

Defeat to Brentford on Wednesday night meant a first loss in six outings, so Bowyer is keen to reach the break with a win.

"We want to be going into the break with a decent performance with a favourable outcome," said Bowyer.

"It is going to be a difficult one, but one that we've got to bounce back from.

"I have a lot of respect for Chris Hughton and what he has done in his managerial career especially.

"He has gone in there and he has turned things around for them.

"We know it is going to be a difficult game because they've got some very good players there."

Tickets for Saturday's match are prices are from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors and Students, and from just £6 for Juniors aged 16 and under.

Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online at and collect from the Roverstore collection point.
