Another challenge for us

Alex Baptiste wants Rovers to repeat their resolute performance when they face Sheffield Wednesday this evening.

Baptiste was part of a new-look Rovers back four that claimed a well-earned point against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, and has called for more of the same at Hillsborough tonight.

But the on-loan defender knows that the weekend point will count for nothing if they don't follow it up with more against the Owls.

"It was a great point but it means nothing if we don't go on from this," said Baptiste.

"We defended really well on Saturday but it will mean nothing if we don't do that again.

"It was a good result and a great team performance but we've now got to move on, we aren't resting our laurels, more challenges come with Sheffield Wednesday.

"They are a good side at home, they have just been taken over, so I can imagine that it is a boost for the club, so it is a massive game for us.

"It is a tough place to go, they are a good side, they beat us here so we feel that we owe them one."

Tickets for this evening's match will go off sale at Ewood Park at 2.00pm.

Fans can also gain admission at Hillsborough by paying cash only at the away turnstiles. Prices are £20 Adults, £10 Seniors/11-16yrs and £5 Under 11s.
