A welcome break

Boss Gary Bowyer believes the international break has come at the right time for the club.

After this afternoon's match against Brighton, Rovers don't then have a first team fixture until Easter when they take on Leeds United on April 4th.

Rovers' squad has been decimated by injury in recent weeks, but the break from football could allow several of those players to come back into contention, which would be a very welcome boost for Bowyer.

"There are times when you look at the break and think we could have done without it because it has interrupted a run of form," said the Rovers bos.

"But for us this time I think it will be coming at a great time for us.

"The ones that have played so many of the games, it will be a time for them to put their feet up for a couple of days and spend some time with their families.

"For the ones that have been injured it is going to give them a great time to catch up and hopefully be ready for the run-in."

Tickets for this afternoon's match against Brighton will be on sale up to the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £17 for Adults, from £11 for Seniors and Students, and from just £6 for Juniors aged 16 and under.

Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online at and collect from the Roverstore collection point.
