Rovers are back in pre-season action this evening when they take on Bury at Gigg Lane - kick-off 7.45pm.

It is Rovers' penultimate friendly match of the summer with the home game against Wigan Athletic to follow this Saturday before the big season kick-off at Ewood Park against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday August 8th.

Rovers boss Gary Bowyer will hope to have some better news on the injury front for tonight's match against the League One side having been without many first team stars during the summer programme.

Jordan Rhodes, Rudy Gestede, Corry Evans, Ben Marshall, Chris Brown, Darragh Lenihan and Chris Taylor have all missed pre-season match action due to illness and injury so it will be a welcome sight if some can take to the field this evening.

Summer signing Fode Koita has been working hard on upping his fitness since joining the club last week and could make his first appearance in a Rovers shirt.

Supporters should note that kick-off this evening is at 7.45pm, not at the previously advertised time of 7.30pm.

It is pay on the day at Gigg Lane, with prices of £10.00 Adults, £5.00 65 and over, £5.00 Students with a valid NUS / Student Card, £5.00 Under 23’s and £5.00 Disabled (Carers Free).

Visiting supporters are situated in the Decipher Construction Stand.
