Rovers hope that the injury sustained by Jordan Rhodes during the friendly win over Accrington Stanley on Saturday isn't too serious.
The Rovers striker went down with an ankle injury during the first half of the 2-0 victory at the Crown Ground and needed to be stretchered off the pitch.
The record signing emerged from the dressing room during the second half and left the match on crutches.
Speaking after the match boss Gary Bowyer admitted it was too early to tell the extent of the damage and that they'll have a better idea in 24 hours time.
"He's just got a knock on his ankle but it is too early to assess it at this moment," said Bowyer after the game.
"We'll see how he is on Sunday and we'll go from there. Hopefully it was just precautionary that he came off. He's in very good hands with the medical team that we have at Brockhall."
