Rovers have been handed a pre-season boost with the news that the injury to Jordan Rhodes isn't as bad as first feared.
There was concern at the Crown Ground on Saturday when the striker went down during the first half against Accrington Stanley, immediately signalling to the bench that he was in trouble.
Rhodes was eventually stretchered off, and left the ground midway through the second half on crutches and with his left ankle in a protective boot.
The Scottish international underwent a scan earlier this Monday, with the results showing no serious damage and that he'll be out of action for just a week to ten days.
Rhodes won't link up with his team-mates at their training camp in Portugal, instead he will stay behind at Brockhall for further treatment on the ankle.
